2024 Australian Open: Prize-money and entry fees
With the Australian Open’s ongoing growth year-on-year, both prize-money totals and entry fees will increase for the 2024 event.
A total of $286,200 will sit in next year’s prize pool at the world’s biggest bowls festival. This is an increase of more than $11,000 from 2023.
Additionally, entry fees are set to increase for the first time since 2018, with each event’s entry fee increasing by $20 per person.
This is the first increase in six years, over which time prize-money has increased by more than $35,000. It will contribute towards the enhanced prize pool and covering rising costs around the operation of the event.
Entries for the 2024 Australian Open will be accepted from 12pm AEDT on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. Be sure to get your entry in early to avoid any disappointment of missing out.
Entries will close at 11.59pm AEDT on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
