Update: Coronavirus impact on upcoming events

Bowls Australia (BA) would like to issue the following update regarding the coronavirus’ (COVID-19) impact on upcoming international and national events, including the 2020 World Bowls Championships and Australian Open.

In conjunction with the relevant stakeholders, including World Bowls, BA is monitoring the status of the respiratory illness’ outbreak and will act in accordance with the guidelines from the World Health Organisation (WHO) and the Australian Federal Government.

At this stage, both the 2020 World Bowls Championships and Australian Open will go ahead as planned.

BA will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide regular updates over the coming weeks.
