Finding results and fixtures

by admin on June 12, 2015

Bowls Australia would like to encourage all participants and spectators to visit the Australian Open website for all the results and fixtures Today marks the first day of the Australian Open and with matches now under way competitors and spectators focus turns to results.

Due to the volume of entries results and fixtures can all be found online and we would like to advice participants to visit the Australian Open website before their games to find their venue and rink.

Once you have found your section number in the draw for each discipline visit the results and fixtures page (SportsDesq) to then confirm your rink.

The competition management system is online, so participants can now view the full details of all sectional and knockout draws.

We advise that all participants create a short-cut to these results on their mobile phones or tablets, to make it easier to access during the event. To create a short-cut on an iPhone or iPad, simply follow these steps:

1. Open the results link (found here) on your mobile or tablet device in Safari internet browser;

2 – Tap the bookmark icon (square box with an arrow pointing up);

3 – Tap on ‘Add to home screen’ button (grey box with a + symbol);

4 – Change the shortcut name;

5 – Click ‘Add’ in the top right corner.

Goodluck to all the participants and remember if you have any queries visit the information/registration desk at the Broadbeach Bowling Club and they will help set up your smart phones to access results.
